As a result of the final illness of man-about-Parma, Charlie, a group of Charlie’s Angels thought that others in the Parma and Sandstone Township area would benefit from having fast and easy access to medical equipment and supplies.

And, so, the idea of the Parma Loan Closet was born.

A quick phone call got storage space donated immediately in the Village of Parma.

Another phone call to Jean got the electric bed used by Charlie donated.  As the truck was loaded with the bed, a collapsible walker, two wheelchairs and a bedside commode went along for the ride to the storage space.

Hopefully, with community support, this beginning will grow and serve many in the Parma-Sandstone Township area.
